MSHP reports Ste. Genevieve man hurt in Highway 32 crash

JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 51-year-old Ste. Genevieve man suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash on Highway 32 Monday evening.

 

According to the Highway Patrol report, the driver was taken to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hosptial by ambulance.

 

The patrol says the man was the driver of an eastbound 2016 Cheverolet Silverado 1500 which ran off the right side of the roadway, striking a guardrail. The truck returned to the roadway, crossed the centerline, travelled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch.

 

The crash happened about 6:40 p.m. west of Kocher Road.

 

The Silverado was a total loss and was removed by Ste. Genevieve County Towing.

 

The patrol doesn’t identify accident victims, however an arrest report issued at 7:07 p.m. states 51-year-old Jeffrey Oehlert of Ste. Genevieve was cited for driving while intoxicated and was at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital and was subsequently released.
