JEFFERSON CITY – Ste. Genevieve sales tax receipts were down for the month of October and down so far in 2025 according to the Missouri Department of Revenue.
The D-O-R reports the one percent general sales tax brought in $56,592.87 in October, down nealry $10,000 from October 2024.
So far this calendar year, the tax has brought in $684,288.76, which is down around $11,000 from the first 10 months of 2024.
The city’s other sales taxes; public mass transportation, capital improvements, and city use tax were also down for the month and for the year so far.

City Use Tax: $27,122.73, down $2,146.75.
