JEFFERSON CITY – A 20-year-old Perryville man escaped injury in a traffic crash on Route OO in Madison County Sunday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the man was the driver of a northbound 2001 Dodge Dakota which struck the rear of a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe which had slowed to make a left turn. The driver of the Santa Fe, a 65-year-old woman from Fredericktown had minor injuries and was taken to Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown by ambulance.
Both drivers were buckled up.
The crash happened about 9:45 a.m. one mile north of Fredericktown.
Both vehicles had moderate damage. The Dakota was towed by D and D Towing. The Santa Fe was driven from the scene.
