PERRYVILLE — Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial (MNVM) invites the public to join in honoring America’s heroes this Veterans Day, November 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
During this annual observance, the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, MNVM will dedicate its newest campus expansion, marking another step in its mission to honor and remember all who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
The ceremony will feature remarks from MNVM Executive Director Rae Lynn Munoz, a United States Marine Corps Veteran, who will share reflections on the importance of Veterans Day, the continued growth of the memorial, and the enduring spirit of America’s service members. This phase of expansion includes the installation of new sidewalks, which lay the foundation for future monuments that will further enrich the memorial’s landscape of remembrance.
Upcoming additions include the Bell Tower, the Gold Star Family Monument, and Laying Down the Burden, a monument dedicated to the unseen wounds caused by PTSD. These future landmarks will offer visitors additional spaces for reflection, healing, and honor.
“Each expansion of our campus strengthens our promise to every Veteran and their family,” said Munoz. “These sidewalks don’t just connect monuments; they connect stories of sacrifice, resilience, and remembrance for generations to come.”
The dedication ceremony will take place on the memorial grounds at Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial, 1172 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Perryville, Missouri. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for parking and seating.
The event is free and open to the public.
