A funeral will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 for 72-year-old Deborah “Deb” McKlin Payne of Sainte Genevieve, Missouri, who passed away October 8, 2025.
She was born July 21, 1953, to Peter and Betty (Nelson) Martin.
She is survived by her husband: Mike Payne; her children: Steven (Kelli) McKlin, Kathy Worland, and Robert “Bob” (Bailey) McKlin; a sister: Michel Wilmoth; a brother: Pete Martin; and beloved grandchildren: Samantha McKlin, Genevieve Worland, Kennedy McKlin, and Olivia Worland.
She was preceded in death by her sister: Barbara “Bobbi” Vanderas; a brother: Roger Martin; parents: Peter and Betty (Nelson) Martin; and her first husband, Robert “Rabbit” McKlin.
Deb was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Ste. Genevieve Elks Club from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Deb was a proud member of the Ste. Genevieve Lions Club, Ste. Genevieve Elks Club, Ste. Genevieve Eagles, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Ste. Genevieve Golf Club. She loved animals, traveling, and serving her community.
