STE. GENEVIEVE – So many women in our community support the Bloomsdale Knights of Columbus Council in their efforts to help those in need, strengthen families and communities, and inspiring deeper commitment to Christ and one’s nation.
Laurie Fallert (President) – Chris Carron (Grand Knight)
The council’s Grand Knight, Chris Carron, realized the benefits to involve women in the Knights through an auxiliary knowing that together the two organizations would be destined to make a positive impact.
His vision became a reality this month when the first meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary was held and immediately their work began. Ideas were flowing to start their mission. The Ladies Auxiliary will serve alongside its Knights of Columbus council providing support, activities and volunteer opportunities for women of local parishes and beyond.
The mission of the Ladies Auxiliary is similar to that of the Knights, to address the needs of the Church and their communities through charity, fellowship and spiritual care.
