JEFFERSON CITY – An 80-year-old Perryville woman received minor injuries in a traffic crash Sunday morning on Highway 67 in Butler County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the woman was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center by ambulance.
The patrol’s accident report states the woman was the driver of a 2017 Ford Escape which pulled into the path of a 2017 Jeep Cherokee driven by a 32-year-old Doniphan woman about 7:30 a.m. The Escape was headed east, while the Jeep was northbound.
The Doniphan woman escaped injury.
Both vehicles received extensive damage. The Escape was towed by Rushins Wrecker, the Jeep was towed by Barkers Towing.
The crash happened two miles south of Poplar Bluff.
