STE. GENEVIEVE – In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Spanish teacher Mrs. Teresa Caba and several of her students visited Mrs. Sara Roth’s second grade class to share lessons in language and culture.
The older students taught the younger Dragons a few Spanish words and phrases, helping them practice basic greetings and vocabulary.
To build on what they learned, the second graders created worry dolls, a traditional craft from Latin American culture meant to bring comfort and ease worries. \
The visit offered a meaningful opportunity for students of all ages to celebrate Hispanic culture and connect through language, creativity, and shared learning!
