Four members of the Mo. House will speak at Guardians’ Tuesday

JACKSON — Four current members of the Missouri House will speak Tuesday at the October 7 meeting of the Guardians of Liberty in Southeast Missouri.

 

The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. at Delmonico’s Steakhouse, 2951 Orchard Road, Jackson.

 

The meeting is open to the public. 

 

The representatives will present their experiences since being elected in 2024.

 

They are: Lisa Durnell (154-R), who represents Howell County; Keith Elliott (153-R), who represents Ripley, Carter, Oregon, Shannon, Wayne, and Howell Counties; Steve Jordan (151-R) who represents Cape Girardeau, Stoddard, and Bollinger Counties; and Bryant Wolfin (145-R) who represents Ste. Genevieve and Perry Counties.

 

Representative Durnell is a proud member of the United Federation of Republican Women. With over 32 years of experience as a certified residential appraiser, she has developed a deep understanding of local property markets. Most recently, Durnell served as the Deputy Collector for Howell County, where she managed property assessments and taxation efforts.

 

Representative Elliott is a cattle rancher and has a rich background in public service, having worked nearly 30 years with the Missouri Department of Transportation.

 

Representative Jordan previously served his community for over 34 years as the vice president and general manager of Heavy Duty Trux LTD.

 

Representative Wolfin also serves on the board of Ste. Genevieve Public Access Television, where he supports local programming and communication initiatives. A former Ste. Genevieve city alderman, Wolfin has a strong foundation in local government advocating for fiscally responsible policies and smaller government. 

 

The Guardians of Liberty in Southeast Missouri is a non-partisan, community-based, grassroots organization that functions as a liberty focused group at the local level.
