STE. GENEVIEVE — During their September meeting, Ste. Genevieve County Democratic Club members passed the hat and collected $270 for the increasing transportation expenses for Common Grounds Coffee House employees.
Club member Linda Wagner sits on the SB 40 board and provided an update about the increase in transportation related expenses and decrease in state funding from the Governor’s discretionary fund.

The Democratic Club meets monthly on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Steelworkers Union Hall. During the October 15th meeting, the club will collect crayons, colored pencils and markers for the local Head Start.
Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital CEO Steve Henson will be the guest speaker.
