Phillip L. Creason, 76, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus, MO.
He was born August 27, 1949 in Lafe, AR to Lowell Delmar and Freda Pauline (Pierce) Creason.
Phillip and Emma L. Connor were married November 17, 1973 at Pate Chapel Baptist Church in Murphysboro, Il. She survives him in Perryville.
He served in the United States Air Force and was an active and faithful member of First Baptist Church in Perryville, where he served as a Deacon.
Phillip retired after forty two years from Union Pacific Railroad where he worked as a signal maintainer. He loved coaching his children’s softball and baseball teams and was the umpire that never got a call wrong. Phillip enjoyed float trips in the current river with his family. His wife and children were his life.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Creason; four daughters, Sirena Chandler of Perryville, Elizabeth (Terry) Sanders of Biehle, Kelsey Creason of Perryville, Gracie Creason of Perryville; three sons, James Creason of Perryville, Kyle Creason of Perryville, Connor Creason of Perryville; eight grandchildren, Cole (Courtney) Chandler, Tyler (Daimy) Chandler, Dylan Chandler, Dane (Mary) Chandler, Alex (Libby) Sanders, Jaxon Sanders, Kassie Sanders, Maddox Sanders; five great-grandchildren; and was a foster father to 309 children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jennifer Patricia-Lee Creason; two sisters, Brenda Clarkson, Dee Ahrent.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday, September 22, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Perryville.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Monday, September 22, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Perryville with Rev. Logan Bennett officiating.
Burial will be at Home Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church in Perryville.
