MNEA-retired donates school supplies to Bloomsdale Elementary

BLOOMSDALE – Ste. Genevieve County School District R-II is happy to share that Bloomsdale Elementary recently received a generous donation of school supplies from MNEA-Retired to help kick off the new school year.

Sharon Giesler, Melissa Otto, Vic and Carol Klaus, and Jill Naeger with MNEA-Retired deliver school supplies to Bloomsdale Principal Mr. Nate Kingery.

The donation included a wide variety of items to support both teachers and students, such as backpacks, folders, notebooks, glue, crayons, pencils, pens and other essentials that classrooms use every day. These supplies will help ensure students have the tools they need to learn and thrive from the very first day of school.

Principal Mr. Nate Kingery expressed appreciation for the thoughtful contribution, noting that donations like this not only meet immediate needs but also reinforce the strong connection between local educators—past and present—and the students they continue to support!

SG R-II extends heartfelt thanks to MNEA-Retired for their commitment to education and for investing in the success of Bloomsdale Elementary’s students and staff.
