Lake of the Ozarks State Park campground reopens after renovations

JEFFERSON CITY, MO. –Lake of the Ozarks State Park’s campground section 4 has undergone extensive renovations including new sites with water, sewer and 50-amp electrical services, as well as the addition of four new yurts in section 2 as part of Missouri State Parks’ revenue bond projects.

 

 

These sections of the campground have been closed for renovations of the 25 new campsites and construction of the yurts since November 2024. This project is one of several revenue bond projects across the state, more information on these projects can be found by visiting mostateparks.com/revenue-bonds.

Beginning at 8 a.m. Aug. 14, campsites 103-110, 112-120 and 160-167 and Yurts C-F will be available for reservations with arrivals beginning on Aug. 14. Please note the campsites in this section have been renumbered, so make note when reserving your sites. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new campsites and yurts is planned for 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28.
