Ste. Genevieve city sales tax reported

JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri Department of Revenue has transferred the proceeds of Ste. Genevieve four sales taxes to the city.

 

The city’s main tax brought in $61,268 in July, which is up a little over a thousand dollars from July 2024.

 

So far this calendar year the sales tax has brought in $474,705 which is down $10,825 from the first seven months of last year.

 

Ste. Genevieve’s capital improvements and mass transportation tax each brought in $28,649 which is up nearly $1,363 from July 2024.

 

So far this calendar year the two taxes have each brought in nearly $222,394 which is down nearly $5,100 from the first seven months of 2024.

 

Ste. Genevieve’s consolidated city use tax brought in $33,248 in July, which is an increase over the $6,756 brought in in July 2024.

 

So far this calendar year, the consolidated city use tax has brought in $155,130 which is down $111,256 from the first seven months of last year.
