Roger M. Broeker

Roger M. Broeker, 72, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025.

He was born March 2, 1953 in Perryville, MO to Henry and Ida Mae (Favier) Broeker.

He served 24 years in the Missouri National Guard.

Roger worked as a mechanic for Lafarge and retired after 27 years and also bladed snow for MoDot for 15 years. He then continued to work as a mechanic for Old Timers Trucking and also delivered parts for O’Reilly Auto Parts.

He was a member of American Legion #133, AmVets Post #94, River Hills Eagles Aerie #4034.

Along with his family Roger loved his dog Bailey, along with his cats and deer. Roger enjoyed watching western movies and, drag strip racing. His greatest talents were his mechanic skills and he was known as a “Jack Of All Trades Grease Monkey”. Roger always had a joke and was eager to help others in need.

He was a member of St Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Perryville.

Survivors include Special Friend, Rose Goessling; Three Daughters, Tina (Robert) Mouser, Brandy (Jimmy Bangert) Broeker, T.J. Broeker; Five Sisters, Judi (Morris) Owens, Janet (Harold) Jannin, Connie (Gene Vessell) Bergtholdt, Sally Ruesler, Donnia (Charlie) Besher; Nine grandchildren, Nicole, Dylan, Dakota (Jourdan), Dalton, Destiny, Brittany, Kaylee, Anthony, Levi; Great-Grandchild, Maddox; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and Brother, Donald Broeker.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 18, 2025 and will continue from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville with Deacon John Darin officiating.

Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
