PERRYVILLE, Mo. – Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial (MNVM) is honored to announce the upcoming dedication of the Veterans Standing Together Across America (VSTAA) Flag.
An extraordinary art piece and symbol for suicide prevention, created by retired U.S. Navy Chief and nationally recognized artist, Joe Pisano of Pisano Artistry.
The Missouri VSTAA Flag, crafted entirely from drywall screws and framed in white, is part of a growing nationwide movement to raise awareness of veteran suicide and diversity.
Launched by Pisano’s “Stand Together Flag” initiative, the campaign now includes multiple handcrafted flags signed by more than 5,000 veterans across the country.
This particular flag was gifted to Missouri by the Resurrecting Lives Foundation (RLF) in appreciation for the state’s enduring commitment to supporting veterans.
