A funeral will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025 for 53-year-old Eric Robinson of Perryville, Mo. who passed away Friday, June 20, 2025 at his residence surrounded by family and friends.
He was born January 6, 1972 in Perryville, Mo. to Roy and Susan (McClure) Robinson, who survives in Perryville.
Eric was the first baby born in Perry County that year.
He and Cindy Pohlman Robinson were married July 16, 1994 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. She survives him in Perryville.
Additional survivors include a son: Justin (Destany Reed) Robinson of Perryville, Mo.; two daughters: Anissa Robinson of Perryville, Mo., and Amber (Ignacio Fuentes) Robinson of Perryville, Mo.; a brother: Kevin Robinson of Perryville, Mo.; a sister: Karen (Brian Walker) Robinson of St. Louis, Mo.; a niece: Sophia Robles of St. Louis, MO; and his beloved dog, Bandit.
He was preceded in death by paternal-grandparents: Robert and Dessie Robinson; maternal-grandparents: Malvern and Marion McClure; an uncle: Mike McClure; and his father and mother-in-law, Ed and Ruth Pohlman.
Eric worked as a mold maintenance technician at TG Missouri.
He was of the Christian faith.
Eric was a member of the Dry Hole Hunting Club, and “The Goose Creek Posse”. Eric was a hard worker but was always ready to have fun. He was typically the leader of any group and encouraged those with him to have “just one more” whether it was a drink, side by side ride, or lap around the lake. His friends meant the world to him but his greatest joy was his wife and children.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 and 8-10 am Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 53-year-old Eric Robinson of Perryville, Mo. will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville with the Rev. Ryan Retzer officiating.
Burial will be at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery Perryville .
Memorial contributions may be given to Journey Hospice or Family Use.
