PERRYVILLE – More than two dozen Americans of all ages gathered Saturday on the courthouse square in Perryville and in the process joined literally millions of others around the country to celebrate democracy and our constitution and defy autocracy and repression of our liberties.
Our beautiful flag will never suffer would be kings or dictators!
Joyce Wright, vice-president of the Perry County Democrats observed “This has been a crazy time and I know you might still be in the shock and awe phase.
However, we are now called upon to RESIST in any way we can. Now more than ever. If not us then who?”
She suggested that the Democrats get together to be among like-minded thinkers.
