A funeral will be held Thursday, February 3, 2022 for 92-year-old Willard Uffelmann of Red Bud, Illinois, who passed away at 12:31 p.m., Friday, January 28, 2022 at R & R Country Care Senior Living in Ruma, Illinois.
He was born April 8, 1929 in Red Bud, Ill. the son of Charles and Sophie (nee Schoenbeck) Uffelmann who both preceded him in death.
He married Rosemary Lehman January 7, 1973 at Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville, Illinois; she preceded him in death on August 11, 2013.
He was survived by three children: Willard Uffelmann, Jr. of Red Bud, Rosemary (Chad) Collins of Red Bud, and Marsha Lynn Uffelmann-Walker of Collinsville, Ill.; a sister: Arlou Lowe of Glen Carbon, Ill.; five grandchildren: Devin Walker, Jeremy Collins, Joshua Uffelmann, Mackensie Walker and Rose Mobley and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Alfred Uffelmann; a sister: Luella Burmester and a grandson: C. J. Collins.
He was a lifelong farmer.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Illinois and Randolph County Farm Bureau.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
A funeral for 92-year-old Willard Uffelmann of Red Bud will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the St. John Lutheran Church in Red Bud. The Rev. Mark Nebel will officiate.
Interment will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the Pechacek Funeral Home in Red Bud and10-11 a.m. Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the St. John Lutheran Church in Red Bud.
