A memorial service will be held at a later date for 63-year-old Michael Charles “Guitar Mike” Cullen of Ste. Genevieve County who passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at his home.
He was born Sept. 17, 1958, in St. Louis, the son of Nancy Marlene (West) and Charles Richard Cullen who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by his separated wife: Janet (Kiger) Cullen; a daughter: Kathryn Cullen of Crystal City; a son: Mike Cullen of Affton; five grandchildren: Tyler, River and Riley Farris, Cash Smith and Hunter Nelms; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Jerry Pippin.
Cullen loved playing the guitar and played with several bands throughout his life.
He also loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, cooking, barbequing, and spending time with family and friends.
He will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help others.
A memorial service will be held later.
Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
