JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 27-year-old Ste. Genevieve man suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash on a Madison County Road early Sunday morning.
The man was taken to Madison Medical Center for treatment.
According to the report, the man was a passenger in a 2000 Chevrolet 3500 which ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
The driver of the truck, a 21-year-old man from Frohna was not injured.
The truck was a total loss and was removed by D and D Wrecker.
The crash happened about 12:02 a.m. on Madison County Road 241 a mile east of Marquand.
The patrol says neither man was buckled up.
