CHESTER – Randolph County Sheriff Jarrod Peters has announced a Ruma, Ill. resident has been selected to receive a 2025 Illinois Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship
“The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is honored to congratulate Jaydian Montroy of Ruma IL, for being selected as the recipient of the 2025 Illinois Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship,” Sheriff Peters has announced.
Jaydian formally accepted her scholarship from Sheriff Peters.
Jaydian, who is a student at Red Bud High School with a GPA of 3.95 plans to attend college and pursue a degree in Administration of Justice. Her main focus is to work in the field of law enforcement.
“We want to wish Jaydian all the best in the next chapter of her journey,” Sheriff Peters added.
