JEFFERSON CITY — A 64-year-old French Village woman received minor injuries in a traffic crash on Route D in Ste. Genevieve County Wednesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the woman was taken by St. Francois County Ambulance District to Parkland Health Center in Farmington for treatment.
The patrol says the woman was the driver of a 2017 Mazda 3 which collided with a northbound 2002 Ford Focus driven by a 17-year-old male from Farmington.
According to the report, the 17-year-old over-corrected and his vehicle traveled into the southbound lane where it struck the Mazda.
Both drivers were buckled up.
Both vehicles were total losses. The Focus was towed by Buckley’s Towing. The Mazda was towed by Marler’s Towing.
The crash happened about 12:48 p.m. near Three Rivers Road.
