COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Mo; Perry and Ste. Gen Counties

JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reports the number of new COVID-19 cases continues to climb in the Show Me State.

 

There were 80,730 new confirmed and probable cases during the seven days ending January 18th, that is an increase of 5.8 percent from the seven days ending January 13th.

 

The vaccination rate in the state is 54.9 percent.

 

Perry County had 245 new confirmed and probable cases during the seven-day period ending January 18th, an increase of 4.7 percent over the previous period ending January 13th.

 

The vaccination rate is 39.9 percent in Perry County.

 

Ste. Genevieve County had 192 new confirmed and probable cases during the seven days ending January 18th, a 60 percent increase over the seven days ending January 13th.

 

The vaccination rate is 46 percent in Ste. Genevieve County.
