COLLINSVILLE – The Illinois Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting to discuss plans to replace the bridge that carries Illinois 4/15 over the Kaskaskia River near Fayetteville in St. Clair County. The meeting will be held:

The project involves replacing the existing Illinois 4/15 bridge over the Kaskaskia River that was originally constructed in 1946 and last rehabilitated in 2013. The purpose of the meeting is to give the public an opportunity to provide input on the preferred alternative for the proposed replacement of the bridge.
Handouts and display boards will be available for public review, as well as information regarding engineering, land acquisition and environmental processes. Representatives from IDOT and the project consultant, Horner and Shifrin Inc., will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. The meeting will be held in an open house format. No formal presentation will be made. The meeting materials will also be available on the project website for review and comment.
The public is invited to make a comment for consideration in the project design. A comment form will be provided at the meeting and via the project website at https://idot.click/il-4-15-st-clair-co.
