Genevieve ‘Jenny’ Carrow

A service will be held Monday, March 3, 2025 for 96-year-old Genevieve “Jenny” Carrow of Bloomsdale, Mo. who passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.

 

She was born November 2, 1928 in Bloomsdale, Mo., a daughter of William Zerwig and Elizabeth (Grass) Zerwig who both preceded her in death.

 

She married Edward Carrow. He preceded her in death.

 

She is survived by three daughters: Barbara (Tom) Tyson of St Louis, Mo., Diane (Bruce) Witwer of Conway, Ark., and Gloria (Chris) Bauman of Pevely, Mo.; three sons: David Carrow of Perryville, Mo., Dennis (Paula) Carrow of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and Wayne (Kate) Carrow of St Louis, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

 

She was also peceded in death by two daughters: Susan Roth, and Linda Schmidt; four brothers: Leo Zerwig, Raymond Zerwig, Carl Zerwig, and Andrew Zerwig; three sisters: Johanna Harms, Frances Dallas, and Katharine Zerwig.

 

She was a member of Daughters of Isabella and St. Agnes Parish Choir.  Jenny loved taking care of her garden and flowers, singing in the St. Agnes Choir, visiting flea markets, playing board games and cards, spending the holidays with family, walking to the creek with her grandchildren, traveling with her beloved husband and high school sweetheart Eddie. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

 

A service for 96-year-old Genevieve “Jenny” Carrow of Bloomsdale will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery  Monday, March 3, 2025 at 10:30 am. The Clergy will be Rev. Ryan Weber.

 

Burial will be at St. Agnes Cemetery in Bloomsdale, Mo.

 

Memorials may be made to Masses or the Alzheimer’s Association.
