A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 in Perryville for 69-year-old Larry Lee Renaud of Richmond, Texas who passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025 at his home surrounded by family.
Larry was born November 7, 1955 in Perryville, Missouri a son of Ottmer and Betty (Cissell) Renaud.
He is survived by three daughters and a son: Christina (Von) Dvoracek of McKinney, Texas, Elizabeth (Jae) Theobald of Houston, Texas, Kimberly (Isaac) Gonzales of Richmond, Texas, Ronnie Reyes of Richmond, Texas; 12 grandchildren: Haley, Hayden, Jonathan, Grace, Braden, Logan, Ethan, Dylan, Andrew, Emma, Aidan, Adam, and Gavin; two great-grandchildren: Kayden and Mia, three brothers Rodger (Jennifer) Renaud of Columbia, IL, Tim (Kim) Renaud of Barnhart, MO, Scott (Angela) Renaud of Orlando, Florida, and a sister, Kathy (Rick) French of St. Mary, MO.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Mike Renaud and a sister: Laurie Renaud
After graduating from Perryville High School, he moved to Houston, Texas where he worked for Ayers Maritime Company. He eventually went on to become Vice President of the company. Larry retired in 2018, wrapping up a 40-year-career in the shipping industry.
While in retirement, he traveled the country, mostly by motorcycle. He made numerous trips to Missouri to spend time with family and friends. He served in B.A.C.A. (Bikers Against Child Abuse) and acted as president of his chapter for several years.
He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was always happy when he could help others. He was an avid bowler, spending nights playing in a local league and volunteering his skills as a coaching assistant for a local high school.
Visitation will be 9-11 am on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A memorial service for 69-year-old Larry Lee Renaud of Richmond, Texas will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville with Deacon Direk Hunt officiating.
Inurnment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville at a later date.
