A funeral will be held Monday, February 17, 2025 for 90-year-old Shirley A. Schilly of French Village, MO who passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center in Farmington, MO.
She was born December 15, 1934 in Ste. Genevieve, MO
She is survived by four daughters: Sandy (Mike) Heberlie of Perryville, MO, Jackie Freeman of French Village, MO, Annette (Dave) Clemmons of Herculaneum, MO, and Carol (Chris) Harrington of Farmington, MO; a son: Steve Schilly of Bloomsdale, MO; a sister: Mary Jane (Gerald) Operle of Sainte Genevieve, MO; grandchildren: Shawn Lalumondiere (Christina Shimkus), Misty (James) Novotny, Erica (Larry) Robinson, Cody Naes, Josh Harrington, Russell (Lexi) Harrington; and great grandchildren: Ellie, Marcelus & Eloise
She was preceded in death by her husband: Lawrence A. “Burr” Schilly; her mother: Dora (Herter) Carron; her father: Bartley Carron; her sister: Colleen Fallert; and a grandson, Christopher Harrington.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2025 at St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale, MO on Monday, February 17, 2025
A funeral for 90-year-old Shirley A. Schilly of French Village, MO will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2025 at the St. Agnes Church.
Burial will be at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Lawrenceton, MO

She was a member of VFW Aux. 2210. Shirley worked at St. Agnes School for many years as a cook, she cooked liver dumpling for the St. Lawrence Parish Picnic, cooked Sunday meals for the visiting priests at St. Agnes, she sang in the St. Lawrence and St. Agnes Church Choirs. Shirley was the Valedictorian in the last graduating class of Bloomsdale High School in 1952. Shirley enjoyed traveling with her husband Burr, boating and happy hour with Burr and friends. Most important to Shirley was her family and friends, she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
