Virginia Carmack

A funeral will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 for 91-year-old Virginia Carmack of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at home in Sainte Genevieve, MO

 

She was born February 4, 1934 in St. Louis, Mo, a daughter of Charles Stephens and Alice (Jacobson) Stephens who both preceded her in death.

 

She is survived by two daughters: Christina Lutz-Crump of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and Stephanie Drougas of Huntley, Ill.; a son: Paul (Karolyn) Carmack of Imperial, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by a son: Stephen Carmack; a sister: Betty Black; three brothers: Charles Stephens, Melvin Stephens, and Kenneth Stephens.

 

She was a member of AT&T Pioneers and a supporter of the Wounded Warriors Project.

 

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.

 

A funeral for 91-year-old Virginia Carmack of Sainte Genevieve, will be held at Basler Funeral Home on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Dale Stringer will officiate.

 

Burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.

 

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or the  Alzheimer’s Association.
