Senator Bryant congratulates the City of Red Bud on receiving Regional Site Readiness Grant Award

SPRINGFIELD, Ill.  – State Senator Terri Bryant (R-Murphysboro) is congratulating the City of Red Bud and Mayor Susan Harbaugh on receiving a nearly $930,000 grant through the Regional Site Readiness Program. The funding will support road infrastructure improvements at the Red Bud Business Park, enhancing the city’s ability to attract future industrial development and economic growth.

 

“I applaud the City of Red Bud and Mayor Harbaugh for their continued efforts to support job creation and economic expansion,” said Senator Bryant. “This investment will help ensure that Red Bud remains a competitive location for new businesses and industries looking to grow in Southern Illinois.”

 

The Regional Site Readiness Program provides funding for site development projects across Illinois, preparing large sites for industrial investment and job creation. Red Bud’s selection for this program highlights its potential for future economic development and the city’s commitment to strengthening its infrastructure.
