Robert ‘Bob’ M. Kloepper

A funeral will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 for 57-year-old Robert “Bob” M. Kloepper of Red Bud, Illinois, who went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at his residence.

 

Bob was a dedicated husband, father, papa, hardworking farmer, and man of unwavering faith. Bob lived a life of purpose, devotion, and love.

 

He was born to the late Melvin and Gertrude (nee Meyerhoff) Kloepper on July 1, 1967, in Red Bud, Illinois.

 

Bob married Tammy L. Embrich on May 8, 1993, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Red Bud (Prairie), Illinois; she survives.

 

Bob spent his life serving others and working the land he loved. As a farmer, he knew the value of hard work and took pride in his crops and cattle. His work ethic was matched only by his love for his family.

 

Beyond his farming, Bob owned and operated RMK tap service for 30 years. He was known for his craftsmanship in cleaning beer lines, which he performed with precision and dedication. He believed in doing every task with excellence, whether small or large.

 

A passionate hunter, Bob appreciated the great outdoors and always cherished the peace and solitude that came with it. He was very proud of his largest buck, “Captain Hook,” which he harvested in 2022.

 

A devout Christian, Bob lived a life grounded in his faith and love for God. His relationship with the Lord was central to everything he did. 

 

Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of faith, hard work, and love will continue to inspire all who are blessed to know him.  

 

He is survived by his wife: Tammy Kloepper of Red Bud, Ill., five children: Rachel (Jesse) Krebs of Red Bud, Ill., Danny (Julie) Kloepper of Ellis Grove, Ill., Jessica (Colton) Henderson of Red Bud, Ill.,

Evan Kloepper (Mallory Moore) of Red Bud, Ill., and Emilie (Bobby) Bierman of Red Bud, Ill.; five grandchildren: Austin Krebs, Josie Kloepper, Dane Henderson, Sloane Henderson, and Lennie Bierman.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: Gary Kloepper, and a sister: Cindy Kloepper.

 

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Pechacek Funeral Homes, Red Bud, Illinois.

 

A funeral for 57-year-old Robert “Bob” M. Kloepper of Red Bud, Illinois, will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Pechacek Funeral Homes, Red Bud, Illinois. Claude Easter will officiate.
