Thomas Travis Fadler Jr.

A funeral will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 for 71-year-old Thomas Travis Fadler Jr., who was reunited with his mother, father, grandson, and other close family members on January 17, 2022. He passed away at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah, Kent.

He was born February 21, 1950 in Sedgewickville, Mo., the son of Thomas Travis Fadler Sr. and Glenna Laura (Heaps) Fadler, who both preceded him in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharla Maglone of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and Amy (Mike) Daume of Perryville, Mo.; a son: Jason (Jenna) Fadler of Imperial, Mo.; a sister: Reva Winkler of Perryville, Mo.; three brothers: Jim (Linda) Sitze of Park Hills, Mo., Julius “Eddie” (Brenda) Fadler of Sedgwickville, Mo., and Larry (Lisa) Fadler of Sedgewickville, Mo.; seven grandchildren: Ashley Webb, Megan Seabaugh, Cierra “Bullfrog” (James) Buechting, Jacob “Yank” Sleyster, Raya “Puddin 1” Fadler, Hallie “Puddin 2” Fadler, and Zoe “Puddin 3” Fadler and six great grandchildren.

Tommy was also preceded in death two brothers: Perry Sitze and William Fadler; a grandson: Westly Webb; and a brother-in-law: Eugene Winkler.

 

Tommy retired from Gilster Mary-Lee where he worked for many years spotting the dock. He was also a farmer his entire life.

He was a booster member of VFW Post 4282.

Tommy was a friend to all who knew him and one of the strongest and most stubborn men you would have ever meet. He was one of kind. Tommy loved his family and everything he did was for them. He loved hunting, playing pool on Friday nights, and riding his motorcycle.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022 and 8-10 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 71-year-old Thomas Travis Fadler Jr. will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rev. Jimmie Corbin will officiate.

Burial will be at the Yount Community Cemetery in Perry County.

Memorial contributions may be given to Yount Community Cemetery.
