JEFFERSON CITY — The number of new COVID-19 cases in Missouri fell slightly according to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
The seven-day total of confirmed and probable cases for the seven-day period ending January 13 was 76,315 slightly lower than the 76,445 reported on January 11.
The average number of confirmed and probable cases per day was around 10,902.
The number of confirmed and probable deaths during the period was 35.
The vaccination rate in Missouri is 54.6 percent for those who have completed the vaccination series.
Perry County had 234 confirmed and probable cases for the week ending January 13th, 23 percent higher than the seven days ending January 11th.
That’s a daily average of 33 new cases a day.
There were no deaths during the period.
The vaccination rate in Perry County is 39.8 percent.
Ste. Genevieve County had 120 new confirmed and probable cases during the seven days ending January 13th, a 21 percent decline over the seven days ending January 11th. That’s an average of 17 new cases a day.
The vaccination rate in Ste. Genevieve County 45.8 percent.
