Richard Paul Weber

Richard Paul Weber, 79, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at Independence Care Center of Perry County.

 

He was born June 14, 1945 in Frohna, MO to Paul Henry and Emma S.H. (Richter) Weber.

 

He and Margaret Ann (Kaempfe) Weber were married on October 5, 1968 at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar.

 

Richard had worked at Chrysler Corporation.  He was an Army Veteran stationed at Camp Casey in Korea.  He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where he served on the Board of Trustees as an Usher, Food Pantry Driver and Grounds Keeper at school.  He was also a member of the American Legion Post 133 Honor Guard.

 

Richard was a loving and devoted husband and father.  His devotion to his wife during her long battle with ALS was a testament to his love and commitment to his family.

 

Survivors include two sons, Daniel (Faye) Weber, David Weber; two daughters, Diane (Matthew) Cates, Donna (Christopher) Holloway; brother, Harlen (Janet) Weber; seven grandchildren, Emily Cates, Faith Cates, Ethan Weber, Aaron Weber, Eli Weber, Autumn Holloway, Brayden Holloway.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Ann Weber; two brothers, Rueben Weber, Melvin Weber; six sisters, Meta Hoehn, Sylvia Meyer, Lorna Steffens, Evelyn Weber, Alice Leimbach and Dorothy Weber.

 

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 am to 9:50 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.

 

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church Perryville in with Rev. Matthew Marks officiating.

 

Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville with Military Honors provided by American Legion and Delta Team.

 

Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or School in Perryville.
