Commission awards contracts for Southeast District projects

SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on Dec. 4. Contracts included pavement improvements, a bridge replacement, and a bridge rehabilitation.

 

Contracts included the following:

 

A $4,412,323 contract was to H.R. Quadri Contractors, LLC, for pavement and safety improvements on Route 21 from Route E to Route 49 in Iron County.

 

A $2,653,959 contract was awarded to Apex Paving, Co., for resurfacing and adding rumble strips on Route 62 from Route 53 to the Arkansas State line and from Route 53 to Route 25 in Dunklin County.

 

A $2,150,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company for pavement improvements and guard rail replacement on Route 14 from Route 181 to Route 63 in Douglas and Howell counties.

 

A $10,996,050 contract was awarded to Magruder Paving, LLC, for resurfacing Route 67 from the Jefferson County line to Route 221 in St. Francois County.

 

An $807,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company for pavement improvements on Route 95 from Route 76 to Route 14 in Douglas County.

 

An $841,098 contract was awarded to Joe’s Bridge & Grading, Inc., for a bridge replacement on Route 158 over Craven Ditch in Butler County.

 

A $6,627,631 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Co., for pavement improvements on Route 61 from Route 60 to Interstate 55 in New Madrid County.

 

A $59,520 contract was awarded to Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., for surface improvements on the eastbound lane of Route 60 near Route EE in Wright County.
