A funeral will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024 for 75-year-old Lindell Dale Lalumondiere of Park Hills, Mo. who passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, Mo.
He was born April 12, 1949 in St. Louis, Mo. to Harold Lalumondiere and Mary Elzene Lalumondiere who both preceded him in death.
He married Mary Ann (Bennett) Lalumondiere December 12, 1992. She survives in Park Hills.
He is also survived by a son: Shawn Baptiste (Christina Shimkus) Lalumondiere of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a daughter: Kacy Lynn Stevener; grandson: Robert Stevener; two granddaughters: Ellie Marie Lalumondiere and Karissa Lynn Cook; two sisters: Judy (Jasper) Hager and Connie Lalumondiere; an aunt: Genevieve Abel; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lindell was an extremely talented musician, singer, and song writer. He played lead guitar, sang in numerous bands including Tanglefoot, Used Car Band, Nik Danger, “Lalumondiere Brothers” and St. Louis Blues Cruisers. He often played with friends and JAM just for fun. Music was one of the most important things in his life and his music will be missed.
Lindell also enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.
Lindell was proud of his grandchildren and loved them immensely.
His buddies meant the world to Lindell and he will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
A funeral for 75-year-old Lindell Dale Lalumondiere of Park Hills, Mo. will be at Basler Funeral Home on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. The Rev. Danny Loesch will officiate.
Burial will follow at Minnith Cemetery in Minnith, Mo.
