This year’s final art walk in Ste. Genevieve set for Nov. 22

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve galleries and artists will host the final 4th Friday Art Walk of 2024 on November 22, with a focus on the upcoming holiday season.

A highlight of the walk will be the opening of the Ste. Genevieve Art Guild’s 38th Annual Christmas Show, featuring giftable art, paintings, reproductions and cards. There also will be a silent auction table and raffle, both of which support the Guild’s Annual High School Scholarship and Art Competition. The Guild is located on the courthouse square.

During the Walk nearby Silver Sycamore Gallery is offering “an array of unique, hand-crafted (yet affordable) items that will be treasured for years to come.”

“Visitors are invited to “enjoy a bit of holiday shopping as they browse through the beautiful gallery.”

In the Little Bohemia neighborhood on North Main Street Music Art Love will feature artists Laura Kemper and Hailey Moore, plus live music by Stephen Kemper and a broad collection of giftware.

Just across the street at E•KleK•Tix Studio & Gallery new, never-before-shown paintings by J. Rissover will be on display, including small art perfect for holiday gifting and a group of paintings paying tribute to Native Americans during the celebration of November as Native American Heritage Month.

Original art and creative jewelry, plus imaginative metal sculpture, will be available at Only Child Originals and Rust, both in the 100 block of North Main.

Other art spaces also may be open.

The Art Walk begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m.

Most Art Walk activities are free and open to the public.
