STE. GENEVIEVE – Recently, fifth grade students at Ste. Genevieve Elementary School had the opportunity to visit various local businesses as part of their annual Career Day, which was sponsored by the school’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).
Students visited the Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital, LHoist North America, the Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Department, and American Custard. Thank you to these businesses for welcoming our students and for providing such engaging and informative experiences!
Counselor Mrs. Greminger and the fifth grade faculty and students would like to thank the following local businesses and professionals who hosted Career Day. The fifth grade students at Ste. Genevieve Elementary had a great day exploring our community. Students were able to experience what it would be like as a professional in each of these careers.
The faculty and students would also like to thank the teachers and bus drivers who kept the students safe throughout the day! The SGE PTO sponsored the buses to transport students from each location. Thanks to careful planning and collaboration among staff and community members, our students experienced fun, informational explorations into possible careers!
