A funeral will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024 for 83-year-old Shirley Ann Bishop of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Independence Care Center.
She was born October 2, 1941 in St. Louis, MO to LeRoy and Elsie (Robinson) Hunt who preceded her in death.
Shirley and Edward Bishop were married October 9, 1971 in Perryville, MO. He preceded her death on June 14, 2020.
She is survived by a daughter: Rose Ann Pelter of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; two sons: LeRoy A. Bishop of Perryville, MO and Michael E. Bishop of Perryville, MO.
She worked as a custodian at Healtmart Pharamcy.
Shirley spent her time working and providing for her children.
She enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinal Baseball.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at the Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
