Community Counseling Center Foundation to host 4th Annual Mary Mingle 5K

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO – The Community Counseling Center Foundation is excited to announce the return of its 4th Annual Mary Mingle 5K on Saturday, December 7th. This festive event is a fun-filled way to support mental health services in the community while enjoying a holiday-themed run or walk.

The 5K race will begin at 8:00 AM and wind its way through downtown Cape Girardeau. Participants are encouraged to dress in their most festive attire and join in the holiday spirit. Prizes will be awarded for the largest jolly posse and the most ridiculous holiday get-up.

All proceeds from the Mary Mingle will benefit the Community Counseling Center Foundation, which provides vital mental health services to approximately 7,000 individuals annually in the five-county service area. The Community Counseling Center Foundation’s financial support has a ripple effect- improving the lives of clients by empowering them and ensuring they receive the best possible care and strengthening the CCC’s staff, fostering a more supportive community for mental and behavioral health in Southeast Missouri.

“We are thrilled to bring back the Mary Mingle 5K for its 4th year,” said Michelle Ramsey, Executive Director of the Community Counseling Center Foundation. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and support a great cause, while enjoying the festivities of the season.”
