Lucy Spears essay responded to the contest theme: “Is America Today Our Forefathers’ Vision?”
Spears is the daughter of Roy and Deborah Bronson. Her entry was forwarded to district competition.
Second place went to Logan Wise, a ninth grader at Valle Catholic, whose parents are Joe and Zenna Steiger.
Third place went to Kai Siebert a ninth grader at Valle Catholic, whose parents are Eric and Chang Siebert.
