Timothy A. Durbin, 55, of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, passed away at 7:55 pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Saint Francis Medical Center, Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
He grew up the youngest of five, with all his siblings watching over him. The Durbin household was always filled with laughter, love, and a lot of shenanigans, and we all lived through them with the grace of God.
Timothy worked as a construction laborer in his younger years. He was diagnosed with M.S. at a very young age and fought the battle since then. His true passion was music. He taught himself how to play guitar and piano. Timothy played in a local band named “The Rock Buzzards” for many years. Music was his life.
Tim married Fran Reinhold in 2003 and was married for 13 years. In 2005, they were blessed with their son, Caleb.
The Light of God glowed through Timmy. He was a true believer. Anyone who ever talked to Tim knew of his faith in God. He knew someday he would get the call when his task was over and he was ready. Now he knows no pain or restrictions; he can hold a guitar pick again and stand up and play!
By the Grace of God, he met his grandson, Grayson, before his task in this life was done. He was a proud grandfather.
Timothy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. He also attended Grace Church Ministries, Chester, Illinois, and participated in the worship choir for many years.
