JEFFERSON CITY – A 34-year-old Denver, Colorado man suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash on I-55 at the 157 mile marker Tuesday morning.
According to the crash report prepared by Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper Collier, Muaiyad Nasser was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson by a Ste. Genevieve County ambulance.
The report says Nasser was the driver of a southbound 2022 Freightliner which traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck the guard rails, and overturned on the roadway.
Trooper Collier says Nasser was buckled up.
The crash happened about 12:50 a.m.
The Freightliner was a total loss and was removed by Ives Towing.
