Edmond Loness, 74, of Jackson, Missouri passed away Friday, October 11, 2024 at his residence.
He was born October 15, 1949 in St. Louis, MO to Alfred and Alberta (Mills) Loness.
Edmond and Cathy (Pinkley) were married December 6, 1980, she preceded him in death on April, 26, 2017. Edmond and Jennifer (Smith) were married on October 20, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV, she survives him in Jackson, MO.
He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War Era.
Edmond was the owner and operator of Loness Machine Shop in St. Mary and Perryville for over 30 years. He enjoyed gardening and taking care of his lawn and trees.
Survivors include one son, John Loness; two step-sons, Jimmie (Dorothy) Joslin, and Danny Dallas; step-daughter, Shannon (Terry) Reiss; sister, Connie (Don) Retzlaff; one grandchild, Lauren; five step-grandchildren, Alicia, Amanda, Alex, Amber, and Abby; and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Robbin Gilmer.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville, MO and will continue from 8:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville, MO with the Rev. Eric Laffoon officiating.
Burial will be at Home Cemetery in Perryville, MO.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Francis Hospice.
