Judith (Judi) Ann Racer, 70, of Perryville, Missouri passed away peacefully Thursday, October 3, 2024 at St. Louis University Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born July 8, 1954 in Ironton, MO to Glenn Racer and Helen (Hartwick) Racer.
Judi was a nurse and worked several years at the Perry County Health Department.
She was a member of the Baptist faith.
Judi loved spending time on the Black River with her family. Her grandsons were her pride and joy.
Survivors include two daughters, Crissy (Kenny) Close of Perryville, MO, Stephanie (Brian) Leible of Perryville, MO; three grandsons, Trevor Leible of Perryville, MO, Carson Leible of Perryville, MO, Kaden Close of Perryville, MO. ; five brothers, Dave (Betty) Racer of Ste. Genevieve, MO, Mike (Patty) Racer of Potosi, MO, Kevin (Kelly) Racer of Farmington, MO, Robbie (Jacque) Racer of Fredericktown, MO, Greg (Brenda) Racer of Fredericktown, MO; four sisters, Rosalie Keesee of Park Hills, MO, Patti (Joe) Benwell of Crestwood, MO, Karen Scott of Cedar Hill, MO, Shellie (Tom) Nausley of Farmington, MO and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Glenda Racer.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Burial will be at a later date at Home Cemetery in Perryville, MO.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
