A funeral will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2024 for 88-year-old Henry Myrl Martin Sr. of Arnold, Mo. who passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Fieser Nursing Center in Fenton, Mo.
He was born April 17, 1936 in Lemay, Mo. a son of John Martin and Anna (Tobyn) Martin, who both preceded him in death.
He married Dorothy (Allen) Martin April 26, 1975. His loving wife of 49 years survives in Arnold.
He is also survived by four daughters: Virginia Knowles of Panama City, Fla., Lorraine Horn, Tina Moody of Clyde, N.C., and Tammy Turner of Springfield, Mo.; a brother: James Martin of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a sister: Mildred Hatcher of Victoria, Mo.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son: Henry Martin, Jr.; two sisters: Elizabeth Kelly and Mary Drury; and a brother: John Martin.
Mryl was a member of First Baptist Church of Arnold, Mo. and a proud member of the United Auto Workers Union and he had worked for General Motors for over 30 years.
A graveside service for 88-year-old Henry Myrl Martin Sr. of Arnold, will be held at Concord Cemetery in Bloomsdale, Mo. Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 2 p.m.
