Ste. Genevieve History Conference will be held September 14

STE. GENEVIEVE – What interesting information will be revealed this year at the Ste. Genevieve History Conference?  

 

To find out, attend the conference Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Ste. Genevieve County Community Center.

 

Dr. Will Thompson will talk about Jean Boullier and his life as a French priest in 19th century Missouri.

 

Melissa Dirr Gengler will explore the history of the Delassus-Kern House.

 

Tom Greminger will enlighten us about one-room schoolhouses in Ste. Genevieve County.

 

Debra K. Downey will relate the story of Rodde Christi and Sainte Genevieve’s Influence in Black American History.

 

Then, Bob Mueller will discuss Senator Lewis F. Linn, the handsomest man in Missouri.
