CHESTER – The monthly mobile market sponsored by the Chester Area Christian Food Pantry with food provided by the St. Louis Food Bank was held recently.
Eighty-five vouchers were filled during the Month of July as the market served 210 households with 478 individuals.
The market, which is open at the Koeneman Acres location, serves the public on Mondays and Wednesdays each week from 9:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.

On this date the Food Bank delivered fresh produce including tomatoes, cantaloupe, peaches, apples, broccoli, and potatoes. The offerings also included cole slaw, chocolate milk, mushrooms, buns, ground pork, eggs, and white milk.
The next Mobile Market will be hosted Wednesday August 28 at 8:00 a.m. at the Cohen Recreation Complex parking lot.
