A funeral will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024 for 49-year-old Shane Austin of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024 at home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
He was born December 9, 1974 in St. Louis, Mo.
He married Jamie (Christopher) Austin on June 8, 2002. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.
He is also survived by a son: Tyler Austin (Jenna Brown) of Bloomsdale, Mo.; a daughter: Hailey Austin of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a son: Zachary Austin of Sainte Genevieve, Mo; his parents: Robert D. and Darlene Austin of Robertsville, Mo.; three brothers: Scott (Anna) Austin of Cedar Hill, Mo., Tracy Austin, Louie Austin of Robertsville, Mo.; and a granddaughter: Paisley Mae Austin.
He was preceded in death by a brother: David Austin.
He was a member of Ste. Genevieve Eagles Club.
Shane enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting with his family and friends.
He was a loving son and brother, and a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Shane was adored by all his nieces, nephews and he treated them like his own.
He was always the life of the party and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
