A funeral will be held Saturday, January 8, 2021 for 61-year-old Gary Robert Foglietta, of Perryville, Mo. who passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at his residence.
He was born August 27, 1960 in Mount Vernon, N.Y., the son of Joseph Emil and Margot Jane (Beebe) Foglietta who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by his three sons: Randal Foglietta, Braden Foglietta, and Jared Foglietta and his daughter: Kaelyn Foglietta, all of Perryville; a brother: Joey Emil Foglietta of Venice, Fla.; and a sister: Lisa (Angelo) Spagnuolo of Hawthorne, N.Y.
He served six years in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of sergeant.
Gary was a utility worker for public works.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church and a former American Legion member.
He was very interested in science and technology as well as enjoying building and repairing electronics.
He also loved cooking with his daughter.
Visitation will be 7:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 8 at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral mass for 61-year-old Gary Robert Foglietta, of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the St. Vincent de Paul Church in Perryville with Fr. Ben Melaku officiating.
Burial with military funeral honors will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
